On August 25, the core plant of the 12GWh power battery project of ETPL Ningguo Base has completed the main structure and roof capping work, and will enter the construction stage of the wall and ground of the battery plant.

Since the construction of pile foundation began at the end of March, leaders at all levels have investigated and visited the project site for many times, fought on the wall map, and the Ningguo Project has constantly refreshed the "progress bar" and run out of the "acceleration".

From the air, the white main factory building is magnificent, and a modern production base has begun to take shape. The battery plant is mainly steel structure, with a construction area of about 100,000 square meters, and the overall steel volume is about 9,000 tons. While the construction of the plant is promoted on schedule, the construction of the outdoor part of the structure has also been basically completed, which lays a solid foundation for the early production of the project.

Ningguo Times New Energy Co., Ltd. was registered and established in Ningguo Economic and Technological Development Zone, Anhui Province on November 23, 2022. It is a lithium iron phosphate power battery project invested and constructed by ETPL, focusing on the production and manufacturing of new energy vehicle power batteries. The project has a total investment of 7.2 billion yuan, covers an area of 522 acres, and a construction area of 230,000 square meters. It will build the cell assembly plant, the unit static plant, the PACK module plant, the raw material warehouse, the finished product warehouse, the NMP recycling and rectification and other production auxiliary plants, and simultaneously build the living facilities such as office buildings, dormitories, restaurants and so on.

The project is expected to be put into operation in May 2024, with a planned production capacity of 12GWh, including 5 automatic cell production lines and 2 Pack production lines, which can be compatible with the production of ternary and lithium iron phosphate batteries, equipped with advanced manufacturing equipment in the industry, with an automation rate of 98.5%. The full application of MES system can realize the information traceability of the whole life cycle of products. Intelligent manufacturing system is introduced to realize intelligent logistics, intelligent monitoring, intelligent detection, intelligent decision-making, intelligent processing, etc. The project is expected to produce an annual output value of 10 billion yuan, tax revenue of 500 million yuan, and create more than 1,500 jobs.
