At the conference, ETPL announced its capacity planning layout and supply chain planning management needs for the first time, and revealed that it has started the construction of 12GWh project in Ningguo and the planning and construction of 6GWh in Zhenjiang Phase III, and will gradually promote ETPL three bases, four bases and five bases, and have 27GWh lithium battery production capacity by 2027.

The company will strictly control the design and development, manufacturing, delivery and after-sales quality, which requires the strong support and joint efforts of supplier partners, and jointly build a mutually beneficial, mutual trust and sustainable development of the supply chain cooperation model. In addition, in order to improve the battery system research and development, new technology development and innovation capabilities, ETPL will also plan to build a comprehensive innovative battery research and development center in the next three years, with a full set of core grade performance testing capabilities and safety testing capabilities, which can conduct comprehensive performance evaluation of products. In the future, the General Research Institute will have the ability to develop more than 10 types of cells and more than 20 types of packs, forming a comprehensive global research and development system of "production, education, industry and research".

Zhang Yu, CEO of Battery network China, pointed out at the meeting that China, as the world's largest new energy vehicle market, has maintained a rapid growth trend in recent years, and it is expected that by 2025, China's new energy vehicle production will reach 12.86 million units, with a penetration rate of 37%, and the demand for power batteries will reach 643GWh, and the development prospects of the industry are still huge.
